Hodgins Engraving Wins Gold Award and Best
of Show from The Buffalo Club of Printing House
Craftsmen
Buffalo, N.Y. - Hodgins Engraving Company of
Batavia, NY recently won two Superb Printing Awards in
recognition of their high standards of printing excellence and
aptness of visual interpretation. The company received a Gold
Award in the category of die stamping with three or more colors
and Best of Show award from The Past Presidents of the club.
The Buffalo Club of the International Association
of Printing House Craftsmen presented the awards to Hodgins
Engraving Company during its annual banquet in Buffalo NY. The
awards are for the club's 2002 competition, which had over
140 entries in 12 different categories. As a result of winning
these categories, both entries advance to national and
international competitions.
Upon accepting the awards, Bob Hodgins, President
and Owner said, "The employees at Hodgins Engraving worked
very hard to create such a high quality invitation. To be
recognized by such fine craftsman, speaks well for our
company's capabilities and our employee's commitment
to quality.'
The Printing House Craftsmen is an organization
consisting of 90 clubs with 5,600 members throughout North
America. Each member is dedicated to improving the printing and
graphics arts industry.
