Hodgins Engraving Wins Three Awards at the Worldwide Printing Thermographers Association's 6th Annual Excellence in Thermography Contest - The Freddies

WASHINGTON, DC - Hodgins Engraving Company of Batavia, NY was recently presented with three FREDDIE awards for industry excellence from the Worldwide Printing Thermographers Association (WPT). They received a first place award in the category of Excellence in Ensemble of Letterheads, Envelopes and Business Cards. They also won a second place award for Excellence in Thermography with Foil Stamping and a third place award for Excellence in Ensemble of Letterheads, Envelopes and Business Cards, Thermographed with an Additional Process.

The FREDDIE award recognizes companies for their use and application of the thermographic (raised printing) process on items including business cards, envelopes, letterheads, social announcements, folders, posters, promotional materials, invitations and more. This year's contest drew over 500 entries in 19 categories from companies engaged in the thermographic printing process across the U. S. and the United Kingdom.

Entries are judged at the WPT headquarters in Washington, DC. All entries are displayed by category throughout WPT's annual conference which was held recently in Phoenix, Arizona.
