Checkerboard, Ltd. Wins Award at the Worldwide Printing Thermographers Association's 6th Annual Excellence in Thermography Contest - The Freddies

WASHINGTON, DC - Checkerboard, Ltd. of West Boylston, MA was recently honored with a FREDDIE award for industry excellence from The Worldwide Printing Thermographers Association (WPT). They received a first place award in the category of Excellence in Social Announcements or Invitations, 100% Thermographed.

The FREDDIE awards recognize companies for their use and application of the thermographic (raised printing) process on items including business cards, envelopes, letterheads, social announcements, folders, posters, promotional materials, invitations and more. This year's contest drew over 500 entries in 19 categories from companies engaged in the thermographic printing process across the United States and the United Kingdom.

Entries are judged at the WPT headquarters in Washington, DC. All entries were displayed by category throughout WPT's annual conference which was held recently in Phoenix, Arizona.
